What it does

Tiny Audio Kit reverses a short audio file in your browser and exports the result as a WAV. It is a small sound-design utility for flipping a voice note, percussion hit or other clip without sending the recording to a server or creating an account.

Reverse, preview and save

Choose a file, listen to the reversed version, then download it. The tool reverses each channel from end to beginning while keeping the original speed and channel order. Its field guide also describes a reverse-singing experiment using repeated recording and reversal.

File limits matter

Inputs are limited to 60 seconds and 12 MiB, with mono or stereo audio. MP3, WAV and M4A are supported where the browser can decode them. The decoded file must also fit the tool’s memory limit.

Exports are 16-bit PCM WAV only. There is no MP3 encoder, and decoding a compressed recording does not recover detail already lost in the source file. A WAV export may be larger than the original.

The tool is free. According to its documentation, audio processing happens locally without an upload endpoint. Short clips are its intended use, so choose a fuller editor for longer recordings or several processing steps.

Alternatives to Tiny Audio Kit

AudioMass is an external browser audio editor with a reverse operation and additional waveform editing and effects.

Free Audio Editor is a listed alternative when you also need trimming, merging or conversion around a reverse-audio task.
