SoundBoost is an online AI mastering service for musicians who want to finish a mix without building a conventional mastering chain. Upload a track, choose an AI engineer, or type plain instructions such as "warmer, less harsh, keep the dynamics." The service analyses genre, tempo, loudness, and the mix itself, then assembles a chain using EQ, compression, saturation, stereo control, resonance treatment, and true-peak limiting. Every prompt becomes a separate revision. You can compare it against the original and keep the version that works. Reference mastering can use a Spotify track to guide loudness, width, and tonal balance. The knobs are still there for people who would rather adjust the sound themselves.

SoundBoost runs in a browser and has iOS and Android apps, with projects synced across devices. Its free mastering account is useful for testing, but there is a catch: you can upload, make up to ten revisions per project, use the controls, and hear 30-second previews, but you cannot finalize or download the full master. Paid Unlimited plans add reference mastering, mobile premium access, full-song finalizing, and 24-bit WAV or 320 kbps MP3 downloads. Unlimited Plus removes the revision cap and adds full-length previews, bulk mastering for up to ten tracks, and priority rendering. The public pricing page currently advertises annual Unlimited pricing from $4 per month. Weekly and monthly billing are also available, so check the live page before buying.

The stem splitter is more generous than the mastering free tier. Standard five-stem separation and the browser practice studio are free with unlimited uploads, giving vocals, drums, bass, other, and a generated metronome. You can loop sections, change tempo or key, read detected chords and synced lyrics, and use a limited rolling allowance for MP3 stem downloads. Paid members get HD WAV and mix exports, Hi-Fi processing, and dedicated guitar and piano stems.

SoundBoost also sells a separate AI music-video service that builds an editable storyboard before rendering a film cut to the track. A free account can create limited 30-second storyboard previews, but full videos use their own subscription and credit system. A mastering membership does not pay for them. Finished films can reach 1080p MP4, and paid plans include a creator pack with the clean cut, clips, stills, stems, lyrics, and an editor timeline. The company says uploaded audio is stored in the cloud, processed by its own hosted models, and not used to train those models. Prompt text and current mastering settings go to OpenAI. Video directions, lyrics, and reference images can be sent to OpenAI, Anthropic, and fal.ai. The privacy policy says the original song audio is not sent to OpenAI or Anthropic. Your tracks and masters remain yours for commercial use. Projects can be deleted.

SoundBoost is a strong fit for independent artists who want fast iterations, stem practice, and mobile review. An experienced mastering engineer can still catch mix problems that a one-minute render may miss.
